Smart Home Installer
Lights, shades, music, TV, locks, and the alarm, on one keypad or app.
Coming home, going to bed
You pull into the driveway. The path lights come on, the shades move where you like them, and the alarm turns off. At night, one "Goodnight" button turns off the lights, locks the doors, and arms the house. Guests don't need six apps, and grandparents don't need a lesson.
The experience we build
The house welcomes you home.
Pull into the driveway and the path lights come on, the shades move where you like them, and the alarm turns off.
One button says goodnight.
One touch turns off the lights, locks the doors, and arms the house. No more walking room to room.
One system, not a dozen apps.
Lights, shades, music, TVs, security, locks, and the thermostat all work together, from one app, clean engraved keypads, a wall touchscreen, or a simple remote.
Built around how your family lives.
We program the system around your real day, with plain-label buttons like "Dinner," "Movie," and "Away." Not a generic template with your room names typed in.
Easy for everyone in the house.
Kids, grandparents, guests, and house sitters can use it without a lesson. Before we leave, we walk everyone through it.
Just say what you want.
Say "Turn on the kitchen and play jazz," and it happens. Choose private voice control that isn't run by a big tech company and doesn't profit from your data, or use the voice assistant you already have.
See who's at the gate, and let them in.
When someone arrives, see them, talk to them, and open the gate from a keypad, a touchscreen, or your phone, even from the far end of a long driveway.
A home that grows with you.
Start with one room or a few key spaces, then add lighting, shades, audio, or security later without starting over.

Why a programmed system beats a pile of apps
Store-bought smart gadgets each come with their own app, and they don't talk to each other. We start by asking how your family's day actually goes, then program one system around it. You don't get a generic template with your room names typed in. On new homes, we're trusted by local builders including Tenhulzen Construction, JC Enterprises Construction, Bakstad Construction, and Berg Construction, and we work closely with architects and designers too.

Nick and Ariez are honest, reliable, and professional, and have helped us tremendously to get everything set up in our new home. From installing internet, to security cameras, lutron shades, and large TVs, they have done it all with a smile and a calm demeanor. We will hire them again.”

Smart Home Control questions, answered
What is a Control4 smart home?
Control4 is one system that runs your lights, shades, music, TVs, security, locks, and thermostat. Instead of a dozen apps, you get one app, clean keypads on the wall, and simple remotes. As an authorized Control4 dealer, we program it around how your family lives, so a "Movie" button dims the lights, lowers the shades, and turns on the TV.
Will my family actually be able to use it?
Yes. We set it up around how your family lives, with plain-label buttons like "Dinner," "Movie," and "Away." Kids, grandparents, and house sitters can all use it. Before we leave, we walk everyone through it, and if anything still feels confusing, call us and we'll make it simpler.
Can I start small and add more later?
Yes. Many clients start with one room, like the media room or the office, or a few key areas such as the kitchen and great room. Control4 grows with you, so you can add lighting, shades, audio, or security later without starting over. We plan the first phase so the next one is easy.
Do I need new construction to get a smart home?
No. We add smart home control to homes people already live in all over Seattle, the Eastside, and Snohomish County. Wireless keypads and remotes mean very little wall work. New builds and remodels are a great time to prewire, and we work with local builders and designers on those projects too.
What's different about Josh.ai voice control?
Josh.ai is private voice control for the smart home. It isn't run by Amazon, Meta, or Google, it doesn't profit from your requests or data, and it's strictly a home control platform. You can say natural things like "Turn on the kitchen and play jazz," and it understands. It works alongside Lutron and Control4.
Does it work with Alexa, Google, and Apple?
Control4 works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can use the voice assistant you already have. The Control4 app runs on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. We'll show you the options at the consultation and set up what fits your home.
Can it run my gate, intercom, or front door?
Yes. We can tie gate stations, video intercoms like DoorBird, and smart locks from Yale and Kwikset into the same system. When someone's at the gate, you can see them, talk to them, and let them in from a keypad, a touchscreen, or your phone. It's especially handy for long driveways and properties with a gated entry.
What if my routines, TV, or apps change?
Call us and we'll update the system. New TVs and app updates happen all the time, and routines change. We can adjust a scene, rename a button, or add a device, often remotely when the system allows it. Planning to buy a new TV? Call first and we'll tell you what works best with your system.
